Brow Stylist - Perfect Brows (PerfectBrows)
Provided by FTW-Labs
Last updated and effective:
This Privacy Policy applies to Brow Stylist - Perfect Brows, also known as PerfectBrows or PerfectBrows AI, provided by FTW-Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). FTW-Labs is the developer name shown on our Google Play store listing. The Android package is com.ftw_labs.perfectbrowsai; the iOS bundle identifier is com.ftw-labs.perfectbrowsai.
We explain below how the app and its service providers handle your information. For privacy questions or data requests, contact FTW-Labs at support@ftw-labs.com. You can also contact us at perfectbrowsai@gmail.com.
Information we process and why
- Photos and facial analysis: photos you choose or take, facial and eyebrow characteristics visible in those photos, selected eyebrow styles, analysis results, and generated preview images. We process these to provide eyebrow assessments, recommendations, and visual previews.
- Preferences and app activity: your language, onboarding answers, style selections, screen visits, taps, app sessions, and events such as starting or completing an analysis. We use these to operate the app, understand feature use, and improve reliability and the user experience.
- Device, diagnostic, and security information: app and operating-system versions, device information, IP addresses, app-generated identifiers, request timing, error details, and app/device integrity tokens and verification results. We use these to diagnose problems, authenticate requests, limit usage, and prevent abuse.
- Purchase information: app-user identifiers, products purchased, transaction or receipt information, subscription status, and purchase/restore events. We use these to provide paid features and restore purchases. Google Play or Apple's App Store processes your payment; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
- Feedback and support: messages and contact details you send us, feature requests, votes, and information included in a support request. We use these to respond and improve the app. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a public feature request.
Photos, facial data, and AI processing
When you request an analysis or generated preview, your selected photo and relevant request details (such as the chosen style and language) are sent over HTTPS through our Cloudflare-hosted API to an AI processing service. The service analyzes visible facial and eyebrow characteristics and, when requested, generates an edited preview. Processing is not entirely on your device.
The current AI backend uses Google Gemini and supports OpenAI for configured analysis or image-generation features. The provider used depends on the feature and backend configuration. These providers receive the image and prompt information needed to perform the request. Our use of facial information is for styling features, not to establish or authenticate your real-world identity.
We do not sell your photos or facial analysis, or use them to build advertising profiles. AI providers handle submitted content under their applicable API terms and data controls, including any safety monitoring and retention those terms require. We do not promise that every provider deletes all data immediately or after a single universal retention period.
Service providers and sharing
We use the following services for the purposes described here. What is sent depends on the platform, app version, and features you use:
- Google Gemini: AI analysis and image generation from submitted photos and prompts. See Gemini API terms and data handling and Google Privacy Policy.
- OpenAI: AI analysis or image generation where configured. See OpenAI Privacy Policy and API data controls and retention.
- Cloudflare: API hosting, routing of photo-processing requests, security checks, rate limiting, and operational logs. Cloudflare infrastructure processes request content and network metadata. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Google Firebase and Play Integrity, and Apple App Attest: hosting this policy and verifying app/device authenticity where used. Verification involves app identifiers, security tokens, and device/app integrity information. See Firebase privacy information, Google Privacy Policy, and Apple Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat and the app stores: purchase validation, subscription entitlements, and restoration of purchases. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy and the Google and Apple policies above.
- PostHog: product analytics, feature configuration, and error diagnostics. Events may include app-user identifiers, subscription status, onboarding selections, style choices, screen/touch events, device/app metadata, and error information. See PostHog Privacy Policy.
- Lamply: in-app feature requests, voting, and app-session activity, using submitted feedback, app-generated device identifiers, and app/payment-status metadata. The service is available at getlamply.com; privacy requests relating to your use of Lamply within PerfectBrows can be sent to our contact address below.
If you share or export a photo or result using another app, that recipient handles the information under its own practices. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to investigate abuse or protect users and the service.
Storage and retention
- On your device: the app saves settings, identifiers, analysis history, and image files locally so you can revisit results. These remain until removed, overwritten, or the app's local data is cleared. Device backups and photos you separately save or export may retain additional copies.
- Photo-processing requests: our current API processes images to fulfill the request rather than maintaining a server-side photo gallery. This does not mean that AI providers retain no content: their API data-handling terms and applicable service settings govern their processing and retention.
- Security records: rate-limit counters keyed to IP addresses and app-generated device identifiers normally expire approximately one hour after their last update. App-attestation registration records and operational logs are separate and can remain longer to authenticate installations and investigate abuse.
- Analytics, purchases, and support: retention depends on the purpose of the record, the service provider's settings, whether it is still needed to provide support or subscription entitlements, and applicable legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution requirements. These records are not all removed when the app is uninstalled.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can choose not to submit a photo and can manage camera and photo-library permissions in your device settings. Features that require an image cannot operate without the selected image being processed.
You can remove saved analysis entries from the app's Results screen. Removing an entry does not necessarily erase cached image files or copies in your photo library. To remove app-local files on Android, clear the app's storage in device settings or uninstall it. On iOS, deleting the app removes its app-container data, but some secure identifiers or backed-up data may persist. Remove separately exported photos and backups using the relevant device or backup controls.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by FTW-Labs or to ask about associated service-provider records, email support@ftw-labs.com with the subject "PerfectBrows privacy request". Include enough information to locate the relevant records, such as the app platform and any relevant support or transaction reference. Do not send payment-card details or additional facial photos for identification. We may need to verify the request and explain any records that must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate requirements.
Deleting the app or requesting data deletion does not cancel an app-store subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play or your Apple account.
Security and international processing
We use HTTPS for transmissions to our API and access controls and app-integrity checks to help protect the service. No storage or transmission system is completely secure. Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live, according to their applicable terms and safeguards.
Children's privacy
PerfectBrows is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate deletion steps.
Changes to this policy
We will publish updates on this page and change the last-updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes. This policy describes our data practices; it does not replace any separate in-app disclosure, permission request, or consent required for a feature.
